In the first three quarters, China's software business revenue reached 8.761 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.5 percent over the same period last year.

Steady growth of revenue from software products

In the first three quarters, revenue from software products totaled 2.0465 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.3 percent over the same period last year, accounting for 23.4 percent of the industry's revenue. Of this total, revenue from industrial software products totaled 197.6 billion yuan, an increase of 11.8 percent over the same period last year.

Rapid growth in revenue from information technology services

In the first three quarters, the revenue from information technology services was 5.8335 trillion yuan, an increase of 15% over the same period last year, accounting for 66.6% of the industry's income.

Among them, cloud computing and big data services achieved a total income of 875 billion yuan, an increase of 15.8% over the same period last year, accounting for 15% of the information technology service revenue.

Revenue from integrated circuit design was 223.6 billion yuan, an increase of 6.8 percent over the same period last year, and revenue from technical services for e-commerce platforms was 799 billion yuan, an increase of 9.4 percent over the same period last year.

The growth rate of information security revenue increases steadily.

In the first three quarters, revenue from information security products and services totaled 142.1 billion yuan, an increase of 9.3 percent over the same period last year.

The software revenue of embedded system is growing rapidly.

In the first three quarters, the revenue of embedded system software was 738.9 billion yuan, an increase of 12% over the same period last year.

The software business income in the central and western regions fell slightly, while the eastern region increased significantly.

In the first three quarters, the software business revenue in the eastern region was 7.2555 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.1% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 0.1% higher than that in January-August.

The revenue from software business in the central region was 431.7 billion yuan, an increase of 12.1% over the same period last year, which was 1 percentage point lower than that in January-August.

The revenue from software business in the western region was 881.6 billion yuan, an increase of 9.9% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 0.2% lower than that in January-August.

The revenue from software business in Northeast China totaled 192.2 billion yuan, an increase of 13.6 percent over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 0.3 percentage points higher than that in January-August.

The software business income of the four regions accounted for 82.8%, 4.9%, 10.1% and 2.2% of the national income, respectively.

Among the top five provinces with software business revenue in the first three quarters, the software revenue of Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong and Shanghai was 1.8962 trillion yuan, 1.4887 trillion yuan, 1.0182 trillion yuan, 942.5 billion yuan and 810.4 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 17.6%, 14.2%, 8.7%, 16.6% and 19.1% respectively. The total software business income of the five provinces (cities) was 61560 yuan, accounting for 70.3% of the country. It accounted for an increase of 1.1 percentage points over the same period last year.
