He was born in February 1988, joined the army in September 2006 and joined the party in January 2010. he is now an astronaut of the fourth grade of the astronaut brigade of the Chinese people's Liberation Army and the rank of lieutenant colonel in the air force. He was once the deputy captain of the flight brigade of a certain brigade of the air force, and was rated as a first-class pilot of the air force. In September 2020, he was selected as the third batch of astronauts in China. After a comprehensive evaluation, he was selected into the manned mission crew of Shenzhou 17.

The Shenzhou 17 ship and arrow assembly was transferred to the launch area on the 19th of this month, and organized a joint training in the whole region yesterday.
