CTOnews.com, October 25, according to the China manned Space Engineering Office, the space station application and development phase mission headquarters is scheduled to hold a press conference on the Shenzhou 17 manned mission at 9: 00 a.m. on October 25 at the Jiuquan Satellite launch Center to report on the mission.

CTOnews.com noted that the Shenzhou 17 ship and arrow assembly was transferred to the launch area on the 19th of this month and organized a region-wide joint exercise yesterday. At present, each system of the launch mission has completed the relevant functional inspection, and done all the preparatory work before the launch.

The Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft mission is scheduled to launch from 11:04 to 11: 44 Beijing time on October 26, and the list of flight crew is expected to be announced one day in advance, according to NOTAMS notice documents.

At present, the state of the assembly and equipment of the Chinese space station are working normally; the three astronauts of Shenzhou 16 are in good condition and are ready to welcome the arrival of the Shenzhou 17 crew.

The Shenzhou 17 spacecraft will dock with the forward port of the core module of the China Space Station to form a combination of three cabins and three ships, and continue to carry out space science and technical experiments.

According to Lin Xiqiang, deputy director of the China manned Space Engineering Office, the three astronauts of Shenzhou 16 at the space station plan to return to the Dongfeng landing site in November this year. Before they return, they will usher in the visit and docking of the Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft.
