CTOnews.com, October 25, according to an internal memo available to MacRumors abroad, Apple plans to roll out relevant parts for all four iPhone 15 models, including rear glass, battery, speakers, display, rear camera and middle frame, starting this week, so as to enable stores and Apple authorized service providers to carry out maintenance on the same machine.

In this memo, it involves the maintenance of the Taptic Engine or the main microphone on the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the relevant parts will have to wait for some time, so the whole machine replacement will be provided at this stage.

All four iPhone 15 models are equipped with removable rear glass so that technicians can open the equipment from the front and back for maintenance.

For customers without AppleCare+, this change has resulted in significantly lower maintenance costs for iPhone 15 models with broken rear glass compared to models without detachable rear glass.

Apple made this design change for the first time on the low-end iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus last year.

Apple's Chinese website announced the maintenance fees for the iPhone 15 series, including 1298 yuan and 1548 yuan for glass damage on the back of the iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max. By comparison, the cost of iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max is 3598 yuan and 3998 yuan.
