In addition, the profit attributable to equity holders of China Unicom in the first three quarters was 17.246 billion yuan, up 10.1 per cent from the same period last year.

China Unicom also said operating revenue was 281.693 billion yuan, up 6.7 per cent from the same period last year, while service revenue was 252.5 billion yuan, up 5.4 per cent from a year earlier.

The operating income of China Mobile in the first three quarters was 775.6 billion yuan, an increase of 7.2% over the same period last year. EBITDA was 268.5 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7% over the same period last year. The profit attributable to shareholders was 105.5 billion yuan, up 7.1% from the same period last year. The number of mobile customers was 990 million, including 750 million for 5G packages and 295 million for cable broadband customers.

China Telecom's operating revenue in the first three quarters was 381.103 billion yuan, an increase of 6.5 percent over the same period last year, of which service revenue was 349.743 billion yuan, an increase of 6.4 percent over the same period last year. The net profit of homing was 27.101 billion yuan, up 10.4% over the same period last year; the non-net profit was 27.212 billion yuan, an increase of 10.7% over the same period last year; and the basic earnings per share was 0.30 yuan.
