On the eve of Singles Day, Taobao Tmall took the lead in upgrading cross-border services in five key markets, namely, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. As the official logistics service provider of Tmall Taobao overseas, Cainiao teamed up with Tmall Taobao overseas to launch free delivery, refund and tax service (tax service is limited to Taiwan, that is, consumers do not have to pay other fees after the parcel arrives in Taiwan). Based on the cross-border supply chain capability of Cainiao's full link, in the future, Taobao Tmall consumers in the five markets of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia can enjoy logistics services of the same quality as mainland Chinese consumers.

Specifically, the Hong Kong market in China has dropped from 199 yuan to 99 yuan for free delivery. Free delivery for 49 yuan in Macau, China. The full amount of free delivery in Taiwan is 249 yuan, and it will be upgraded to free delivery plus tax in the official period of double 11. Singapore's threshold for full free delivery has been upgraded from 299 yuan by sea to 249 yuan by air. Malaysia's full free delivery threshold has been upgraded from 299 yuan by sea to 199 yuan by air at the same time.

Upgrade supply chain guarantee without degradation of limitation

Rookie's flexible supply chain knows more about e-commerce. On Singles Day this year, Cainiao promised Tmall Taobao overseas consumers that the transportation of Hong Kong and Macau would be limited in five days, and that of Singapore and Malaysia. In order to ensure the logistics limitation of Singles' Day, Cainiao will also temporarily expand the collection warehouse and distribution center of more than 50,000 square meters, add nearly 1,000 trains on the China-Hong Kong trunk line, and thousands of temporary workers in warehouses, so as to cope with the peak promotion.

The scale and quality of the pick-up points in Hong Kong have been improved.

Hong Kong pick-up points will also usher in the "package test". In order to cope with the upcoming double 11 parcel peak, Cainiao added more than 100 self-pick-up points in Hong Kong to meet the needs of consumers to place orders and pick up goods during the boom. At the same time, in order to enhance the self-pick-up experience of consumers at Taobao Hong Kong Station, Cainiao provides consumers with services such as Sunday business, express unpacking stations, storage of overweight items, and extension of business hours on weekdays at more than 50 pick-up points, so that consumers should not only "buy happily", but also "feel at ease".

It is reported that Cainiao, including China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, has provided full-link cross-border e-commerce logistics services to Taobao Tmall consumers in 15 countries and regions. Among them, in Hong Kong, China, the cumulative number of Cainiao's users has exceeded 2.6 million (data as of the end of July this year), and an average of one in three Hong Kong people has used Cainiao's logistics services. Cainiao has established a Hong Kong-wide self-logistics network in Hong Kong, China, including distribution centres, self-pick-up points, China-Hong Kong trunk lines and local distribution fleets.
