CTOnews.com October 24 news, YouTube channel Der8auer anchor recently uncovered Intel i9-14900K processor, after replacing the use of indium thermal conductive material, the core temperature can be reduced by up to 13 degrees Celsius.

On the Asustek Maximum Z790 Hero motherboard, the 5.6GHz P core frequency target is set to 1.39V BIOS i9-14900K processor out-of-box average temperature of 93.1C, peak power consumption of 294W, and its hottest core temperature can reach 100C. CTOnews.com attached the video as follows:

Der8auer after routine testing, after applying Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal between the CPU chip and the top cover (IHS), the average temperature was 83.2 °C, which was 9.9 °C lower.

Der8auer further lowers the temperature by contacting the frame (which provides uniform pressure for the CPU), resulting in an average temperature drop of 11.6 degrees Celsius and the hottest core temperature by 13 degrees Celsius.
