CTOnews.com, October 24, OPPO released the A785G mobile phone in January this year, 10 months later, the rendering pictures and specifications of its successor were exposed on the Internet.

Sources say the machine, called OPPO A795G after its launch, has recently been certified by a number of national regulators.

From the currently exposed rendering, the OPPO A79 5G will have a 6.72-inch LCD panel with a central punch.

The display has a FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 680 nits, a screen share of 91.4%, a contrast of 1400 NTSC 1, and a 96% NTSC gamut.

In terms of specifications, the phone will be equipped with MediaTek Tianji 6020 processor. It will be equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. In addition, it supports virtual memory expansion up to 8GB and provides expansion options at the 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB levels. The phone is also equipped with a memory card slot to expand the storage space to the 1TB.

As for the camera, the main camera is a 5000 megapixel Samsung JN1 5p lens with f / 1.8 aperture and 77 °field of view; the auxiliary lens will be a 2MP Portrait OmniVision OVO2B1B 3P lens with f / 2.4 aperture and 89 °field of view; and the front of the fuselage is equipped with an 8 megapixel OmniVision OVO8D 4p lens with f / 2.0 aperture and 80 °field of view.

The OPPO A79 will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC charging technology through the USB-C port and can be fully charged in 74 minutes. The device will run ColorOS 13.1, which is based on the Android 13 operating system, and will have functions such as screen translation, automatic pixels, photo information and privacy protection. It also has dual stereo speaker settings and ultra high volume mode.

In terms of physical size, the thickness of the machine is 7.99 mm and the weight is 193 grams. It will come with 36 months of fluency protection certification. The phone will be available in glowing green and mysterious black, and will showcase a new back design that OPPO calls "Glowing Feather Design".
