Recently, Dyson announced the official release of its first floor washer, Dyson WashG1. Dyson WashG1 floor washer adopts ground washing technology which integrates water release, infiltration and scraping technology, which can automatically separate solid and liquid waste while washing the ground. The Dyson WashG1 is equipped with a clear water tank with a capacity of 1 liter, which can last up to 35 minutes, and the daily cleaning can cover 290 square meters.

2023 is the tenth year for Dyson to enter the Chinese market. Ten years ago, Dyson officially opened the Chinese market with floor cleaning products. Today, Dyson products have covered floor cleaning, personal care, environmental care and other areas.

In recent years, as vacuum cleaners have entered more and more Chinese households, people have become more familiar and recognized with cleaning standards such as "strong suction". However, few people can give a scientific answer to whether these concepts still apply to the field of wet towing. The release of Dyson WashG1 products, in view of the current demand for floor washers and product pain points, gives a Dyson solution.

Dyson analysis believes that relying on suction to wash the floor is easy to cause the inhaled solid-liquid waste to remain in the pipe, which is not easy to clean up, and will produce air odor due to high air suction when cleaning the floor.

Dyson WashG1 adopts a suction-independent solution, and is designed through solid-liquid separation and no dead corner inside the sewage tank to deal with odor and performance degradation after long-term use.

No need for suction and no "aftereffects".

WashG1 floor washer adopts suction-independent ground cleaning method-engineer Dyson places two main rollers with built-in motors at the front and rear ends of the floor washing head respectively. While the two rollers rotate toward each other, the pulse water injection pump continuously delivers fresh water to 26 water outlets distributed along the rollers, uniformly infiltrating the two rollers to achieve continuous clean water. The double drum design also increases the residence time of the drum on the dirt during each cleaning and increases the decontamination effect.

The surface of the double main drum of the WashG1 floor washer is covered with 64800 ultra-fine fibers per square centimeter, ensuring that liquid stains are fully absorbed and solid dirt, debris and hair are wrapped and involved through its high-density bristles and high water absorption.

In order to make maintenance more convenient and clean, WashG1 floor washer uses Dyson triple solid-liquid separation technology, the front separation hair and solid-liquid waste-dirty water is collected into the sewage tank, while solid waste, including hair, is scraped into the debris box, without touching, clean solid-liquid waste separation and treatment can be achieved.

After the machine is turned on, the two main rollers rotate opposite to each other, continuously cleaning and rolling up all kinds of dry and wet dirt and hair on the ground. At the same time, two built-in nylon brush strips close to the main drum continue to brush off the solid dirt, debris and hair adhered to the drum and throw this kind of solid waste into a removable debris box. Subsequently, the scraper on the top of the drum continues to squeeze the drum and scrape off the sewage. The bottom tray of the debris box adopts a grid design, and the mesh aperture is as small as 500 microns, which can effectively separate the sewage scraped by the scraper and the solid debris scraped by the brush. Under the power of the water pump, the sewage is pumped into the sewage tank with a capacity of 0.8 liters, while the solid debris is left on the grid tray and will not enter the pipe of the machine, thus realizing the sanitary and convenient separation and treatment of solid-liquid waste.

In order to further facilitate the daily maintenance of users, Dyson WashG1 also adopts the design of "no sanitary dead corner" of the sewage tank, thus effectively reducing the accumulation of dirt in the interior of the machine. Not only that, the sewage tank and the clear water tank are designed with a wide mouth to facilitate users to dump sewage and clean the water tank.

Upgrade experience of floor cleaning

In order to meet the diversified and differentiated needs of users, Dyson WashG1 is also equipped with a variety of water release modes that can be switched in real time, and users can freely choose among low, medium and high cleaning modes according to the type of dirt, floor material and personal preferences, flexibly adjust water output and humidity, and bid farewell to water marks.

In the on-site experience, Dyson floor washer separates hair, debris and other solid objects in front of the floor cleaning process, so that there is only sewage in the sewage tank, which avoids solid waste pollution or Dusai pipeline. Its design does not rely on suction, avoids the smell of air and, in my opinion, reduces the noise of floor washing.

At present, Dyson Wash G1 floor washer has been officially launched in JD.com and other channels on October 18.
