The media reported that the two proposed factories are Top Group and Wesai Group respectively. The 21st Century Business report learned from Wesai Science and Technology that the news was not released by Wesai, and the company "has not yet made a final decision" to build a new plant in North America. For the company's lidar is to supply Tesla cars or humanoid robots, the other side said they did not know.

In March, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that Tesla would build a super factory in the northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, which will be used to produce Tesla's next-generation models and is an important part of the company's global expansion.
