CTOnews.com news on October 21, according to foreign technology media Wccftech reports, AMD has begun in the Linux 6.7 kernel, has released the first version of the patch for RDNA 3.5 Refresh "GFX1150" GPU.

CTOnews.com reported in July this year that the kernel code of AMD Ruilong 8000 mobile processor has appeared in the open source code, which are GFX1150 and GFX1151 respectively.

The "GFX1150" of this exposure should be the 12-core AMD Auron 8000 mobile processor "Strix Point", which may use 4 Zen5 + 8 Zen5c architecture, equipped with 8 WGP, kernel specification 16CU, can hold up to 1024 stream processors, power consumption of 28-54W.

AMD has been an early patch for GFX1150 "RDNA 3.5" GPU, and the code names have been incorporated into the Linux kernel.

AMD has not disclosed any information about the RDNA 3.5 Refresh, but the company does reveal that the original RDNA 3 ASIC has been completed, indicating that Refresh is a rumor. However, AMD does say that it will launch new products according to market demand, so it does not rule out this possibility.
