CTOnews.com Russian government on Friday published a list of domestic cars that state officials should buy, all Russian or Chinese brands, Reuters reported. Chinese automakers grabbed market share after manufacturers such as Renault and Nissan pulled out.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade: "To date, domestic enterprises have produced models with various technical features and equipment (6 brands, more than 20 models) capable of meeting the needs of officials at all levels. It added that all automakers are committed to deepening localized production under special investment agreements with the government.

CTOnews.com notes that the list of cars includes five Lada models produced by Russia's largest automaker Avtovaz, as well as UAZ, Aurus and Moskvich brands and Evolute electric cars.

It is understood that the Moskvich 3 model is a Sihao X4 (label change), in the form of SKD semi-bulk parts, the assembly parts are transported to Russia for assembly to form a complete vehicle.

Haval has been producing cars at its plant in the Tula region, 200 kilometers from Moscow, since 2019, with five models on the list.
