CTOnews.com, October 21 (Xinhua)-- AMD plans to release the Thread Ripper Pro 7000 series processor on October 19 after revelations that the flagship 7995WX has 96 cores and is more frequent than the 5GHz.

PCMag, a foreign technology media, recently tested Dell Precision 7875 workstations, shared the running data of thread tearing Pro 7995WX processors, and compared it with Intel Xeon W9-3495X and AMD's previous generation thread tearing Pro 5995WX processors.

According to the results of the Cinebench R23 run, the performance of the thread tearing Pro 7995WX processor scored 100291, 80% higher than the Intel W9-3495X and 58% higher than the 5995WX.

CTOnews.com quoted another media Videocardz as saying that AMD also held an overclocking event within the company, overclocking all 96 cores of the thread tearing Pro 7995WX processor to 4.4GHz, with a power of 620W. After overclocking, Cinebench R23 scored 148719 (148.7k), setting a new running record for Cinebench R23.
