CTOnews.com Note: Hutubi Gas Storage is currently the largest natural gas storage in the country, with a gas storage capacity of 10 billion cubic meters, a cumulative gas injection of 21.317 billion cubic meters and a cumulative gas supply of 15.907 billion cubic meters. The gas storage undertakes the dual functions of seasonal peak regulation in cities along the west-east gas transmission network, emergency gas supply and seasonal peak regulation in northern Xinjiang.

According to Xu Changfeng of PetroChina Xinjiang Oilfield Company Gas Storage Co., Ltd., compared with the existing single reciprocating compressor, the daily gas injection capacity of the gas storage has been increased by five times, and the installation has been completed. In the follow-up, there will also be mechanical commissioning, load testing and other links, and then will officially join the gas injection operation team next year, the peak peak shaving capacity will reach the design level of 40.2 million cubic meters per day.

In the gas storage, the compressor is the most important equipment in the gas injection stage. it pressurizes the gas through the high-speed impeller and injects it into the ground for storage.
