Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will, through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers, check the position of the guide plate of the connecting hole in the rear crossbeam traction ring for vehicles within the recall range free of charge, and replace the rear crossbeam if the position is incorrect, in order to eliminate safety risks.

Since November 20, 2023, a total of 8108 domestic GLC SUV vehicles with production dates from February 16, 2023 to May 10, 2023 have been recalled. In some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the small inner diameter of the connecting bushing of the front crossbeam traction ring, the traction ring can not be fully screwed into the connecting hole. When the front traction device is used for traction operation, the connection may be loose and there is a hidden danger of safety.

Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will, through an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, check the dimensions of the front beam traction ring connection bushing for vehicles within the recall range free of charge from November 20, 2023. For vehicles that do not meet the requirements, the front crossbeam will be replaced on March 20, 2024 to eliminate safety risks.
