According to the China Academy of Information and Communication, the artificial intelligence technology represented by the large model is the key technology to lead the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change, and to promote the key technology research and intelligent generation application of large model engineering for the application of key industries. China Institute of Information and Communication takes the lead in promoting the construction of an open source and open industrial public service platform for artificial intelligence large model engineering technology and applications (hereinafter referred to as "public service platform"). To solve the three major industrial needs of "model opening, model testing, and content governance", the goal is to get through the "last kilometer" of the landing of the large model, and to protect the application of the large model technology.

At present, the construction of the public service platform is progressing steadily, and after completion, it will be open to large model construction enterprises, application enterprises, government departments, individual developers, and so on. it mainly provides seven types of services, such as community operation, tool support, open dataset, large model testing, intelligent content generation monitoring, intelligent generation content identification, training and so on.

According to reports, through the implementation of this project, it will gather the forces of all parties in the upstream and downstream of the industry, accelerate the process of technological innovation and engineering landing of large models, promote the ecological prosperity and development of large models in China, and support artificial intelligence technology to better empower the real economy.
