According to reports, this commercial took the lead in realizing the opening of the 2000 + site network, supporting the launch of massive fully connected factory applications such as logistics AGV, equipment online, and park monitoring, marking that China Unicom has the end-to-end commercial capability of RedCap in Guangdong, and is a key milestone in the commercial deployment of RedCap in 2023.

China Unicom said that since April this year, China Unicom has worked with Huawei, Dingqiao and other industrial partners in Guangdong, from pilot verification to pilot commercial use to large-scale commercial use, to promote the continuous extension and maturity of the RedCap industrial chain. In the local scene, Guangdong Unicom opened RedCap in dozens of factories, including Midea, Wanjiale and Xiaoxiong Electric Appliances, and at the same time deployed dozens of Dingqiao RedCap commercial DTU terminals in the kitchen hot dishwasher factory in the United States, which were connected to MES equipment through DTU, and sent the product assembly station, finished product scanning and other information back to the workshop to produce Kanban.

In the wide area scenario, Guangdong Unicom has carried out network KPI monitoring on the sites where RedCap has been activated. The monitoring results show that the opening of RedCap has no negative impact on the stock 5G user experience and 5G base station load, and can achieve 5G network KPI smoothing. With the gradual expansion of the deployment scale of RedCap services, Guangdong Unicom will gradually achieve "where there is 5G, there is RedCap".
