Toyota says it is committed to providing a seamless charging experience, both at home and in public. Through Toyota and Lexus applications, customers can use a wide range of charging networks, including more than 84000 charging ports in North America, and NACS provides users with more options.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, another car giant, BMW Group, announced on October 28 that it would adopt the North American charging Standard (NACS) in the United States and Canada from 2025. The agreement covers BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce electric models.

So far, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Jaguar, Hyundai, Kia and other car companies have announced to join the Tesla NACS charging standard.
