BYD's two stores in Budapest, the Hungarian capital, will officially open on the 19th of this month.

BYD has entered 19 European countries since it announced its entry into the European passenger car market at the Paris Motor Show in 2022, according to officials. Hungary is BYD's first market in Central and Eastern Europe, marking another important milestone in BYD's expansion of its global presence.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, BYD showed off six electric vehicles and new technologies at the IAA 2023 Munich International Auto Show, including Seal EV (Seal), Seal U (domestic champion version of BYD Song PLUS) and Teng Teng D9. With the addition of Dolphin (dolphin), Tang (Tang) and ATTO 3 (yuan PLUS) previously sold in the European Union, BYD's total number of models on the European market is expected to reach six by the end of this year.
