CTOnews.com, Oct. 19, according to feedback from many iPhone users on MacRumors forums, the Reddit community and X (Twitter) social platforms, there is still a problem of automatically shutting down at night for a period of time after upgrading to iOS 17.1 RC.

CTOnews.com previously reported that this problem first appeared in the iOS 17.0.2 update, and MacRumors users actually tested it and found that the problem had not been fixed after upgrading iOS 17.1 RC.

Even if the iPhone is charging, it shuts down automatically at night, and the user wakes up to see the iPhone password screen.

This problem is not alone. The iPhone 15 Pro Max used by the media editor automatically shuts down the phone during the night for a period of time without battery optimization and overnight charging using MagSafe.

CTOnews.com previously reported that iOS 17.1 improved the screen burning mechanism of the iPhone 15 model mainly through software, and fixed the problem that "may lead to image residue".
