CTOnews.com October 19 news, according to the British tax regulator recently released a new investigation report, in 2021 alone, Apple as the representative of major technology companies through the transfer of profits and other means, resulting in the loss of nearly $3 billion in British tax revenue.

TaxWatch organized statistics on seven technology giants, Apple, Adobe, Amazon, Alphabet (Google), Cisco, Meta (Facebook) and Microsoft, and found that their financial data was opaque and realized "tax evasion" behavior.

The organization argues that global companies can organize the structure and activities of each of their subsidiaries to shift sales, costs and thus profits and losses between jurisdictions, thereby exploiting tax rates and legal differences between countries in which their subsidiaries operate to achieve "reasonable tax evasion."

The group estimates Apple's turnover in 2021 at between $12 billion and $18 billion (CTOnews.com notes: currently about 87.84 billion yuan to 131.76 billion yuan), with a median tax payment of $863 million to the UK in 2021 (currently about 6.317 billion yuan). But Apple reportedly paid about $163 million (currently about 1.193 billion yuan).

Overall, the charity claims seven large tech companies avoided paying nearly $3 billion to the UK in 2021 (currently about 21.96 billion yuan).
