In terms of Windows location improvement, Microsoft has added new controls in the new version to help users manage which applications can access the surrounding Wi-Fi network list, which can be used to determine the location of users. Users can view and modify which applications can access the Wi-Fi network list through Settings > Privacy and Security > location.

In addition, to simplify the process of sharing a user's location with a trusted application, Microsoft added a new prompt that will appear the first time the application attempts to access the user's location or Wi-Fi information. This prompt enables location services and allows the application to access the user's location, helping the user with tasks such as finding routes or checking the weather, without navigating to Settings. In addition, when the application unexpectedly requests access to the location service, the prompt issues a notification so that the user can reject it. If the user does not want the application to access the location, you can turn off Notification when the location is requested on the location Settings page to hide these prompts when the location is closed.

In addition, in Settings, when you view the Wi-Fi password under the Wi-Fi property, the QR code is now displayed to make it easier to share with others. The QR code is also displayed when you set up a mobile hotspot to share a network connection.
