Today, Chen Xun, secretary of the board of directors of SAIC Group, said at the site of the collective roadshow for high-quality development of Shanghai Stock Exchange: By 2025, the proportion of new energy vehicles in SAIC's vehicle sales will reach 50%, the proportion of intelligent network-connected vehicles will exceed 50%, and the proportion of overseas sales will exceed 20%.

CTOnews.com query found that from January to September this year, SAIC overseas market cumulative wholesale sales reached 838,000 vehicles, an increase of 21.8% year-on-year. SAIC's self-owned brand MG sold 28,000 vehicles a month in the European market, doubling year-on-year.

SAIC also previously said at the MG Global Dealer Conference that overseas sales are expected to exceed 1.2 million vehicles in 2023. It is said that SAIC has started the site selection of European vehicle manufacturing base.

In addition, in order to cover the mainstream market segment, SAIC will launch 14 brand-new intelligent electric vehicles overseas by 2025, including Zhiji LS6; by 2026, SAIC will add 12 new energy ocean-going transport ships for six consecutive years, and will add more than 500,000 self-operated vehicles every year.
