It is understood that Ricoh Group joined hands with Sony, Murata (China) and Nitto Electric in this competition, and opened to participating enterprises, universities and teams to focus on the cutting-edge hard core technology of the four major tracks of advanced equipment, decarbonization technology, digital AI, and culture and entertainment, providing participants with valuable opportunities for learning and development, and looking forward to reaping achievements in the corresponding fields. The four major tracks cover the overall situation of scientific and technological innovation, in line with Ricoh's new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing. Innovation Cornerstone: advanced equipment Race track
The advanced equipment track focuses on cutting-edge technology and will provide the cornerstone of innovation for the development of the industry. In this competition, Ricoh brought the crawler robot base, fretting sensing system and other technologies. In order to solve the problem of complex terrain and difficult manual operation, the crawler robot adapted to complex and diversified terrain arises at the historic moment, which has the characteristics of flexible steering, small size and strong expansibility. Fretting sensing system solves the problem of poor accuracy of traditional devices in capturing fine movements, unable to sense ultra-high-speed and high-definition motion, can capture biological / abiotic micro-changes, and is expected to be widely used in biological motion detection, human-computer interaction and other fields.
Drive engine, digital AI track
Digital AI track opens Ricoh's machine vision technology platform, intelligent document platform and factory digital technology platform. Ricoh machine vision technology platform includes image processing, enhancement, segmentation, detection, recognition and other modules, which can realize size measurement, defect detection, visual positioning, image fusion and so on. In addition, Ricoh also brings an intelligent document platform, equipped with advanced OCR and NLP algorithm engines, which can not only achieve digital processing of various types of documents, but also achieve 90% process automation. In the aspect of factory digitization, Ricoh's "one object, one code" security label adopts Ricoh invisible digital watermarking technology, and the certificate cross-validates the supply chain data collected by many parties. The intelligent image recognition and positioning algorithm supporting the warehouse intelligent management system has a positioning error less than 10mm, supports low-quality bar code recognition and goods detection, and has a comprehensive accuracy of more than 94%. Intelligent stocktaking solves the shortcomings of low efficiency of traditional stocktaking methods and low barcode recognition rate of equipment. Environment-friendly, decarbonization and environmental protection track
In terms of decarbonization and environmental protection technology, Ricoh brought DSSC: all-solid-state dye-sensitized photovoltaic cells and PLAiR: polylactic acid micro-foamed sheet. DSSC is a new generation of photoenergy cell that collects the light energy of indoor lighting and supports independent power supply, which can support the Internet of things sensors to supply power independently, eliminating the trouble of extra charging or replacing the battery. Its material technology is derived from Ricoh's self-developed organic photosensors (organic light drums for high-precision imaging in laser printing), which can maintain high power generation efficiency in low lighting indoor light environment and achieve maintenance-free power supply. The battery itself uses all-solid electrolyte, which has high safety and durability, no pollution and long service life. PLAiR is a new generation of substitute plastic material which is derived from plants and air and can be compost biodegradable. It can replace petroleum-based non-degradable foamed plastics (disposable tableware, packaging, buffer materials, etc.). It can reduce the amount of polylactic acid raw materials by foaming expansion and save the cost of replacement plastics. it can be widely used in food-grade packaging, food containers, fragile goods buffer materials and other fields. Global application, cultural and entertainment track
At the cultural and entertainment track, Ricoh brought the panoramic camera THETA Z1. This is the world's first 1-inch CMOS professional panoramic camera, supporting one-button panoramic 360-degree imaging, supporting Ricoh panoramic vision algorithm platform, can achieve panoramic image enhancement, spatial recognition perception, panoramic navigation, target detection crowd analysis and other functions, in virtual reality, meta-universe and other fields to provide powerful technical support.
In this competition, co-organizers Sony, Murata (China) and Nitto Electric also opened up their cutting-edge technologies. Sony has brought a number of entertainment interactive technologies from 3D capture, motion capture to 3D display, among which FVV- volume capture technology is a lightweight volume capture technology that greatly reduces the dependence of traditional volume capture technology on the number of cameras. It is used in scenes such as VR / AR 3D content generation and dynamic stereo photography, as well as motion capture Mocopi and 3D display SRD technology, which enriches users' sensory experience of entertainment interaction in an all-round way. Murata brings advanced sensor solutions, including piezoelectric, air pressure, inertial navigation, ranging and other scenes to meet the special needs of different production environments. Its Picoleaf piezoelectric thin film sensor has high precision at the micron level and is suitable for the surface of any material, which can be bent without calibration. Type2AB UWB+BLE Module accurate ranging technology based on signal time of flight can be used to realize indoor positioning system, non-lifting access control, non-inductance and other applications. Nitto Electric brings advanced technology of a variety of functional materials, including flexible sensors that can accurately sense motion changes such as object angle and expansion, and achieve flexible change measurement in rich scenes; AOC connector is the first time in the industry to achieve compact and lightweight flexible AOC, its excellent softness makes it only 40% of the thickness of traditional connectors; keystroke glass uses a glass panel, so that the keystroke switch can be physically clicked and has a new touch.
