CTOnews.com, October 18 (Xinhua)-- Sharp's Dynabook has launched a high-end 13-inch laptop in Japan with a battery life of up to 24 hours, but its starting price is as high as 393800 yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 19257 yuan).

This Dynabook GA83 / XW laptop comes with an optional AMD Ryzen 77730U or Ryzen 57530U processor, up to 16GB memory and up to 512GB NVMe SSD for solid state drives. The 17.9mm, though not the thinnest business laptop, has amazing battery life, with officials saying it lasts between 17.5 and 24 hours, and weighs only 875g.

Another highlight of the Dynabook GA83 / XW laptop is its heat dissipation system. Dynabook uses thermal fluid analysis to understand the airflow inside the case and designs a case structure that can emit heat as quickly and effectively as possible.

The Dynabook GA83 / XW features a 13.3-inch non-reflective LCD display with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and an optional touchscreen. The laptop is equipped with an artificial intelligence webcam and a physical privacy blocker. Supports fingerprint recognition, as well as optional facial recognition.

In terms of interface, Dynabook GA83 / XW provides two USB-C 3.1ports and two USB-A 3.0ports, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet port, a microSD card slot, and an 3.5mm headphone Jack. There is also an optional LTE modem and Bluetooth 5.1.

This is not the lightest laptop in the world, but it is the lightest laptop with an AMD processor, 10g lighter than the Fujitsu Lifebook U9311A launched in 2021 with an AMD Ryzen 54500U or Ryzen 4700U processor.

The lightest laptop currently on sale is the FMV UH-X 4ZR1L13925, launched by Lenovo in August, which carries Intel Core i5-1335U chip and weighs only 868g. But the laptop is not the lightest laptop ever. The title belongs to the FMV UH-X 4ZR0X81523 launched by Lenovo in 2018 and weighs only 778g.
