CTOnews.com, Oct. 18, every time Android releases a big version of Android, there are some bug and problems. Android 14 seems to be an exception. Initial reports showed that Pixel 6 and 7 users praised the system, saying it improved the phone's heat dissipation and battery life. However, some Pixel 6 users are not so lucky. after installing the latest Android 14, they do not encounter problems such as overheating, but they encounter greater trouble. their phones have storage problems and, in some cases, do not even have access to the internal storage and the files stored in the phone.

Some applications also have problems because they do not have access to internal storage because they cannot download any data to the phone, and using file applications to free up space does not work. The phone displays only the space taken up by the application, and zero storage space for other categories-downloads, pictures, videos, audio and documents.

There are also some users who experience random app crashes and "storage is full" when in fact their phones have enough free storage space.

This problem only seems to affect Pixel 6 users with multiple user profiles. Umar Shakir, editor of The Verge, tried to reproduce the bug on his Pixel 6a. Although he did not encounter exactly the same problem, his phone crashed many times and even had a "system interface unresponsive" error, indicating that the bug was indeed related to multiple user profiles.

It is understood that switching to a secondary profile will resolve this problem, but will not be able to access any applications or files associated with the primary profile.

Oddly enough, this problem doesn't seem to affect Pixel 7 models. If you have multiple user profiles on your Pixel 6, please avoid updating to Android 14 until Google comes up with a possible fix. Google has not officially acknowledged the problem, and CTOnews.com will keep an eye on it.
