Yang Dongsheng, chairman of Xugong Group and Xugong Machinery, said that Xugong Group's first set of power batteries went offline, marking that Xugong has the industrial capability of product research and development, batch production and stable delivery in the field of new energy power batteries.

According to introduction, the total investment of the project is about 1 billion yuan, covering an area of 200 mu, planning to build several industry-leading power battery PACK production lines.

CTOnews.com found from the announcement that the X01 power battery released this time was built by Xugong Group and BYD. The battery uses BYD blade cells. Officials also announced follow-up battery plans, including B platform blade batteries and V platform non-blade batteries.

Xugong Group said that the battery innovation uses the double-layer stack form of cells, which further improves the space utilization rate of battery packs compared with the single-layer stack commonly used in the industry. Superimposed high-strength PACK design and super heat management system, so that it can widely cover heavy trucks, light trucks, cranes and other application scenarios, effectively meet the needs of commercial vehicles, construction machinery diversified working conditions.

Xugong Power Phase I production capacity 6Gwh, production line can be compatible with more than ten kinds of blade cells. The whole production process is realized by robot, AGV, intelligent logistics system and MES informatization system, and the hardware and software are intelligently interconnected, and the whole process is visible in real time to ensure the consistency of product quality. In addition, the production line can adjust the program at any time to complete the multi-variety switching combination of the production line to form a flexible product line to meet the multi-variety and small-batch personalized delivery of commercial vehicles and construction machinery.
