CTOnews.com, October 18, in order to create a healthy and harmonious community environment and reduce the negative content related to prejudice, hatred and violence in pictures or texts, Microsoft launched Azure AI Content Safety, an AI content review tool, in May this year, which was officially released today after months of testing.

CTOnews.com Note: Azure AI Content Safety provides a series of trained AI models that can detect negative content in pictures or text related to prejudice, hatred, violence, etc., and can understand and detect pictures or texts in eight languages, score the severity of tagged content, and instruct human auditors what needs to be taken.

The content review tool was originally integrated into Azure OpenAI services, and Microsoft is now officially launched as a stand-alone system.

"this means that customers can use it for AI-generated content from open source models and other corporate models, as well as calling some user-generated content to further expand its usefulness," Microsoft wrote in an official blog post.

Microsoft said that compared with other similar products, the product has significantly improved in terms of fairness and understanding of context, but the product still needs to rely on manual auditors to mark data and content. This means that in the end, its fairness depends on human beings. Manual auditors may be biased when dealing with data and content, so they are still unable to be completely neutral and prudent.
