CTOnews.com, Oct. 18, AMD today released a new version of the graphics card driver, version 23.10.2, which supports a number of new games, including Assassin's Creed: illusion, King of depravity and Ultimate Speed. More importantly, this update turns off AMD Anti-Lag + technology to prevent players from being blocked in multiplayer games.

AMD explains the situation as follows:

AMD has received reports that some games trigger anti-cheating systems when they turn on AMD Anti-Lag + technology, resulting in players being blocked. To solve this problem, we released the AMD software: the Adrenalin Edition 23.10.2 driver, which disables Anti-Lag + technology in all supported games and advises players to use the new driver. AMD is actively working with game developers to find solutions to re-enable Anti-Lag + and to help restore players affected by the anti-cheating ban. We will inform you as soon as we have more information.

According to CTOnews.com, Anti-Lag + is a new technology introduced by AMD, which enables application frame alignment from the code layer to achieve better frame synchronization, resulting in lower latency and a better gaming experience.
