BYD expects a profit of 20.5 billion-22.5 billion yuan in the first three quarters, up 120.16%-141.64% year-on-year; among them, the pre-profit in the third quarter is 9.546 billion-11.546 billion yuan, up 67.00%-101.99% year-on-year.

BYD said that in the third quarter of 2023, the new energy automobile industry continued its good growth momentum, and the company's sales volume of new energy vehicles continued to hit an all-time high, ranking first in the global sales volume of new energy vehicles.

At the same time, BYD electronic announcement shows that the profit attributable to shareholders in the first three quarters of 2023 is 2.836 billion ~ 3.116 billion yuan, up 129.29%~151.93% year-on-year.

In September this year, BYD's new energy vehicle sales reached 287454 units, compared with 201259 units in the same period last year, an increase of 42.8% year-on-year; September production was 279848 units, compared with 204,893 units in the same period last year, an increase of about 36.6%.

BYD sold 151193 pure electric vehicles in September, compared with 94941 in the same period last year, up about 59.2% year-on-year; sales of plug-in hybrid models reached 135,710, up about 28% year-on-year. According to the model, Dynasty and Ocean series sold 273747 vehicles in total, and Tengshi sold 13156 vehicles.
