CTOnews.com, October 17, Intel yesterday launched the 14th generation of core desktop processors, including i9-14900K / KF, i7-14700K / KF, i5-14600K / KF models.

Intel released the 13th generation of Core i5-13400 processors earlier this year, while the 14th generation of Core i5-14400 is also expected to be released in early 2024. According to @ ECSM_Official, Intel's new i5-14400 processor still maintains the B0 and C0 versions of the i5-13400.

Now, the Core i5-14400 processor is available on Geekbench, with Seven Rainbow B760 Mini-ITX Frozen motherboard and 64 GB DDR5 memory, Geekbench 6.2.1 single-core 2464 points, multi-core 13373 points.

Intel's new i5-14400 processor B0 and C0 still have no difference in parameters, with 6 cores + 4 small cores, a total of 10 cores and 16 threads, 20 MB L3 cache, and a frequency of about 2.5~4.7GHz. It seems that Rui frequency is higher 0.1GHz than i5-13400, but the running score has exceeded i5-13400, close to i5-13490F.

Unsurprisingly, Core i5-14400 and other 65W desktop processors will be released in early 2024, marking the end of the LGA1700 platform and Intel's existing naming format.
