Xia Yiping points out that at present, there are mainly two mainstream smart driving schemes in the industry: one is a pure vision scheme represented by Tesla, and the other is a perception scheme based on lidar chosen by other manufacturers.

At present, Ji Yue is the only Chinese car brand that adopts a pure visual approach to develop smart cars, he said. In addition, the occupied network technology jointly developed by Ji Yue and Baidu will be released soon, which may be carried in Ji Yue 01.
