CTOnews.com, Oct. 17, Google today invited some Chrome browser users of the Canary channel to test a new feature called Link Capturing for PWAs.

After the user clicks on the PWA application link, it will not jump out of the new tab, but will evoke the corresponding PWA application window to facilitate the user to browse directly.

Browser enthusiast @ Leopeva64 shared the adjustment on X (Twitter) today, and users of Chrome browsers for Canary can experience this feature by enabling # enable-user-link-capturing-pwa experimental Flag.

To enable Link Capturing for PWA applications, users first open PWA from the browser and choose to remember their choices. Users can also enable Link Capturing for the specified PWA application on the application management settings page.
