CTOnews.com October 17 news, investment bank Morgan Stanley analyst Eric Woodlin (Erik Woodring) recently released a market research report, predicting a sharp decline in Apple's iPad revenue in the fourth quarter of 2023.

The agency expects iPad revenue for the quarter to be $7.2 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 52.632 billion yuan), down 23% from $9.4 billion in the same period last year (currently about 68.714 billion yuan).

Eric Woodlin (Erik Woodring) said that Apple updated its iPad Pro model and introduced the 10th generation iPad in October last year, while it is reported that Apple will release the iPad Air, iPad mini and the 11th generation iPad this week, so the sales figures cannot be directly compared.

Many sources, including Mark Goolman of Bloomberg, believe that Apple will not launch a new iPad this week, while other sources say Apple will choose to launch a new iPad tomorrow, and it is impossible to tell which side of the news is true or false, pending an official release from Apple.

Apple hasn't released any new iPad this year. If Apple still chooses not to release a new product, it will be the first calendar year in Apple's 13-year history without a new iPad.
