He joined B Society in 1999, initially as a member of its marketing team, and later promoted to become the head of the company's global marketing and communication team. After Microsoft acquired ZeniMax Studios, the parent company of B Club, in 2022, Hines was promoted to the head of the new global publishing department of B Society. He has participated in the release and marketing of game series such as Ancient Scrolls, radiation, Starry Sky, Shame, German headquarters and so on.

In a post posted on the X platform by ▲ source Pete Hines, Pete Hines said he would spend his time "exploring what he loves and his interests" and "enjoy life" after retirement.

Pete Hines thanked many of his colleagues at Society B and thanked the "thousands of fans" who met him over the past 24 years. He said he was "really excited" about what Society B would create in the future.

The official social media account of agency B quickly responded to Hines's departure in the form of a doctor's prescription, but it has not yet announced who will take over as head of the global publishing department before Hines.
