Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, October 16, Microsoft Edge browser has a split screen feature that allows you to drop two web pages in one window, such as reading two CTOnews.com articles at the same time.
Microsoft is developing a new way to invoke the split screen feature, and the recent Canary version of Edge browser introduces drag-and-drop split screen support, similar to the way you use Snap to arrange Windows applications.
However, this feature needs to be enabled by using a special command to modify the shortcut, and CTOnews.com comes with an open tutorial:
Right-click the Microsoft Edge Canary shortcut and select Properties.
Click the Target field, add a space after the original content, and then enter the following:
-- enable features=msEdgeSplitWindowDragAndDrop Click OK to save the changes.
Start Microsoft Edge Canary using the modified shortcut.
Open two tab pages and drag one of them to the right of the window to start split screen.
It is worth noting that the current split-screen implementation is only valid when dragging tabs to the right, and only applies to horizontal views side by side, so the functionality is not perfect.
