CTOnews.com, Oct. 16, according to foreign media xfire, as part of an agreement to get CMA to agree to Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Microsoft and Ubisoft signed an agreement that will allow Ubisoft to distribute Activision Blizzard's cloud game rights in the European Union and other regions.

It is reported that the relevant agreement includes all Activision Blizzard games that have been released and will be released in the next 15 years, as well as all DLC and additional content of the game.

Chris Early, senior vice president of strategic cooperation and business development at Ubisoft, said that in the future, Ubisoft will introduce Activision Blizzard games into Ubisoft + subscription services and grant cloud game rights to cloud game companies, service providers and console manufacturers.

Chris Early claims that cloud gaming technology will play an important role in the future, and that cloud gaming will be more accessible in the future due to improvements in network technology, and that the cloud gaming experience will be similar to that of local games in 10 to 15 years, although it is not clear how the deal will work in different regions.

Foreign media said that Ubisoft now controls all Activision Blizzard games that enter cloud game services, with the exception of the European Union, where players can play all the "current and future" Activision Blizzard games they buy through "any cloud game service they choose."

Foreign media believe that when Ubisoft may stop Activision Blizzard games landing in Xbox cloud games, Microsoft needs to pay "some fees" to allow related games to log on to Xbox cloud games.
