According to the public information of permission for major changes in non-bank payment institutions of the people's Bank of China (as of October 2023), Xunlian Zhifu was established in June 2013 with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. It is a third-party payment service provider specializing in mobile Internet finance, including technical development and technical consulting services for electronic payment, payment settlement and settlement systems. In October 2020, Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. applied for the "petal payment" trademark, involving financial property management, scientific instruments and other categories. According to reports, petal payment coverage includes real estate management; debit card payment processing; insurance information; electronic money transfer; online banking; credit card payment processing; currency exchange; electronic wallet payment services; capital investment; through the use of membership cards to provide discounts to others in participating institutions.

In the first half of 2022, Huawei pay was officially launched, covering Huawei Music, Huawei Video, Huawei Reader, Mango TV, Youdao cloud notes, PP Video and other Huawei applications and some third-party applications.
