The results of the first round draw for the Swiss round have now been announced. Among them, the first seed JDG from the LPL division will play against LEC fourth seed BDS; second seed BLG, which has been killed all the way from qualifying and qualifying, versus LCK third seed KT; third seed LNG will play against Linea EC second seed FNC; fourth seed WBG against LCS first seed NRG.

It is worth mentioning that all the key matches related to promotion or elimination in the Swiss round adopt the three-inning two-win system (BO3), while the rest of the games are won or lost in a single game (BO1).

In the first round, each team will be randomly paired with opponents in different divisions to win or lose a single round. This round will produce eight 1-0 teams and 8 0-1 teams. In the second round, there will be eight more individual games-four games between eight 1-0 teams and four games between eight 0-1 teams.

At the end of the second round of the Swiss round, there will be four 2-0 unbeaten teams, four 0-2 unbeaten teams, and eight teams that won and lost in each of the first two games.

In the third round, the four 2-0 teams will play a game of two wins in three games. The winner will advance to the knockout stage and the loser will continue to participate in the fourth round. Four 0-2 teams will also compete in the best-of-three games, with the losers eliminated from the global finals and the winners continue to participate in the fourth round.

There are still 12 teams left in the fourth round, including 6 with a record of 2-1 and 6 with a record of 1-2. Six 2-1 teams will compete in the three-inning two-win system, and three winners will be selected to advance to the knockout stage. The other six 1-2 teams will also play three best-of-three games, and the losers will be eliminated from the global finals.

By the fifth round, there were six teams left, all with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses. The six teams will play the last three thrilling games of two out of three. The three winners advance to the knockout stage, while the losers will end the global finals.

In view of the continuous dynamic changes in the qualifying situation under this competition system, each team can have more chances to win. No more teams will fall into the so-called "death group", making the audience feel that their journey to the global finals is over before it even begins.

After the end of the Swiss round, eight teams will enter the knockout stage. At this stage, we will continue to use the single knockout system of five games and three wins, competing in the 1/4 finals, semi-finals and finals until the global finals champion is decided!
