CTOnews.com, October 15, UUP Media Creator is an open source tool for scanning and obtaining updates from the Microsoft Unified Update platform (also known as UUP) to help users obtain Windows 10 and Windows 11 updates and installation files from different distribution channels (Insider and Production).

UUP Media Creator recently updated version 3.1.9.0 and updated UUPDownload, thus resolving the recently released download problem of Windows 11 Moment 4, which is now available for download from GitHub. The update log shows:

The new version of UUP Media Creator has just been released and is designed to address key issues where you cannot download all files and create setup files for Windows 11 version 23H2 (Moment 4).

If you encounter an error while creating this file, restart the uupdownload command, which automatically downloads some missing files, does not re-download the existing files, and then restarts the conversion command with the new version.

CTOnews.com Note: UUPMedia Creator consists of two programs: UUPDownload and UUPMediaConverter. This update involves UUPDownload.

Among them, UUPDownload can help users scan, obtain and download Windows files from different channels, while UUPMediaConverter can help users convert downloaded files into images so that they can install or create startup tools using other programs (such as Rufus).

Unlike Microsoft's official MCT tool, UUP Media Creator is not unique to Windows, and you can also use it on Linux and macOS.
