CTOnews.com, Oct. 15 (Xinhua)-- General Motors launched a new car service, uServices, on Thursday local time, which aims to provide developers with the necessary API to develop automotive App and standardize API.

According to reports, uServices is GM's unique API, designed for developers who are "interested in building extensible software that can run across multiple vehicles." In addition, GM plans to promote uServices as part of the vehicle networking Systems Alliance (Connected Vehicle Systems Alliance, hereinafter referred to as COVESA) in order to accelerate the innovation of vehicle networking systems.
