According to CTOnews.com on October 14, Seamus Blackley, the co-founder of the original Xbox, posted a mockery on X, saying that he had previously sold him "Guitar Hero" (demonstration Demo). Kodik refused and told him that no one would buy the game, and Activision paid for it.

CTOnews.com noted that Guitar Hero is a music game produced by Harmonix and released by RedOctane, where players can pick up the guitar and play a series of iconic rock songs.

The Guitar Hero series has sold more than 25 million units worldwide, with retail revenue of $2 billion. Despite the early success of the series, the series and the overall rhythm game type have not sold well since 2009.

Guitar Hero Live, released in October 2015, is the first new game in the series in five years. After repercussions and tepid sales, Activision fired many of the game's developers and sold the studio to Ubisoft before shutting down the game's DLC service.
