CTOnews.com, a well-known series of games owned by ▲ Team17, has previously reported that Team17 plans to restructure its QA department and is said to lay off more than 50 employees, and the future game development process will rely more on "outsourcing".

However, a few days ago, foreign media Eurogamer claimed that the scope of Team17 layoffs will be "much more than that", and employees in all departments may be affected, including marketing department, availability service, customer service, IT and human resources, involving as many as 91 people, accounting for 1/3 of the company's total, while relevant partners have not been told to lay off staff before.
