CTOnews.com, Oct. 13-the Nintendo Switch console went on sale in March 2017, its sixth year on the market, but sales in Japan surpassed last year in the middle of the fiscal year, Bloomberg reported.

▲ Bloomberg reports that Nintendo sold 110241 Switch consoles last week and has sold 2.28 million so far in the fiscal year, surpassing the 2.15 million in the previous fiscal year.

▲ source Bloomberg CTOnews.com has previously reported that Nintendo recently launched the "Malio Red" limited version of the Switch OLED, foreign media believe that this limited machine, Switch sales ushered in another wave of improvement.

▲ although Nintendo previously estimated that Switch sales in the current fiscal year may fall 16.5% compared with the same period last year, the data show that Switch games consoles can still be played in Japan even at the end of its life cycle.

According to Wikipedia, Nintendo Switch currently sells 30.882 million units in Japan, and as for subsequent Switch models, according to previous revelations, the new machine is expected to be launched in the second half of next year.
