CTOnews.com, Oct. 13, according to the latest news shared by source @ RGcloudS, Samsung has been working on a new GN camera sensor since last year, with a sensor size of 1.57 inches, 5000 megapixel resolution and a pixel size of 1.0 μ m.

It is reported that Samsung's future ISOCELL GN sensor will provide the same pixel full well capacity (Full-Well Capacity) as the HP2, and significantly improve autofocus and pixel-to-pixel crosstalk, thus challenging 1-inch sensors in small sizes and achieving huge performance improvements.

Samsung says the sensor will be available as soon as 2025 on the Galaxy Z Fold8, which he thinks will skip the number 6 next year, and on the Galaxy S26, which will be released in 2026.
