CTOnews.com, October 13, Adobe is leading the launch of a new LOGO to identify images and content created or edited using artificial intelligence tools.

Adobe collaborated to develop a solution called Content Credentials with the participation of many partners such as BBC, Microsoft, Nikon and Truepic.

Through this solution, Adobe adds information about the source of an image, video, or PDF file to metadata to indicate whether the AI algorithm is used in the creation or editing of the data file.

The relevant information will be automatically added to Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, and Microsoft plans to provide support in Bing Image Creator.

When applications or browsers that support this feature (implemented in JavaScript) display content, a LOGO in the form of lowercase "cr" appears in the upper-right corner of the image.

After the user clicks on it, a pop-up window appears containing information about the image. Files in question can also be uploaded to a special website where the necessary metadata will be displayed.

Adobe is not the only company that has made good on its promise to provide artificial intelligence content tags after Google launched its own solution called SynthID.
