CTOnews.com October 12, Sony announced that it will launch the PS5 cloud gaming service, and now the service has finally reached the final stage before the release.

Sony SIE announced today that PS5 cloud streaming service will be launched this month for PlayStation Plus Premium members, allowing players to play PS5 games supported in the PS + game catalog, trial versions and games purchased from PS Store.

Sony plans to launch the service first in Japan on October 17, then in Europe on October 23, and finally in North America on October 30.

Hideaki Nishino, senior vice president of SIE platform experience, said, "some PS5 games will provide streaming services, and we plan to launch hundreds of PS5 games to support this new advantage."

Sony's first public list of cloud games includes, but is not limited to (it is said to include hundreds of PS5 games):

Popular PS5 games in the ● PlayStation Plus game catalog, such as Marvel Spider-Man: miles Morales, Horizon: the West's Junction, death stranded, Live call 11 and Mafia Saints 4.

Trial versions of ● PS5 games, such as the Legend of Hogwarts, Wizard 3: hunting, and the Callisto Protocol.

Other PS5 digital games purchased by ● PlayStation Plus Premium members, such as biochemical Evil 4, death Island 2, original God, Sugar Pac Man and Fortnite

Sony stressed that PlayStation Plus Premium members will also be able to use the new PS5 cloud game benefits, including:

● PS5 Cloud Games will provide downloadable content and game in-house services, including DLC and additional content.

● high-resolution options, including 4K, 1440p, 1080p and 720p, with 60 FPS and SDR or HDR output.

● supports all PS5 audio features, including 5.1 and 7.1 channels and Tempest 3D audio technology.

● supports screenshots and recording up to 3 minutes of video, which will be downloaded to your PS5 library by default or can be found in PS App's library.
