As of September 2023, the member units of the Alliance have reported a total of 2.462 million public charging piles, including 1.061 million DC charging piles and 1.400 million AC charging piles. From October 2022 to September 2023, about 69,000 public charging piles were added monthly.

71.0% of public charging piles were built in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Hubei, Beijing, Shandong, Anhui, Henan and Sichuan TOP 10 areas. The national charging electricity is mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Hebei, Shanghai, Fujian, Shandong, Shaanxi, Henan and other provinces. The electricity flow direction is mainly buses and passenger cars, while other types of vehicles such as sanitation logistics vehicles and taxis account for a relatively small proportion. In September 2023, the total charging capacity of the whole country was about 3.18 billion kWh, 80 million kWh less than that of the previous month, with a year-on-year growth of 44.7% and a month-on-month decrease of 2.5%.

As of September 2023, the number of charging piles operated by charging operation enterprises nationwide is TOP 15, which are respectively: Special calls operate 466,000 units, star charging operates 419,000 units, cloud fast charging operates 397,000 units, State Grid operates 196,000 units, small orange charging operates 135,000 units, Wei Jingyun operates 117,000 units, Dake Cloud operates 91,000 units, Shenzhen car power grid operates 83,000 units, China Southern Power Grid operates 79,000 units, Yiwei Energy operates 73,000 units, 63,000 units of Huiyuan Charging Operation, 52,000 units of Wancheng Wanzhong Charging Operation, 46,000 units of Blue Fast Charging Operation, 30,000 units of Wanma Love Charging Operation and 25,000 units of China Putian Operation. These 15 operators account for 92.4% of the total, while the remaining operators account for 7.6% of the total.
