CTOnews.com, October 11, YouTube anchor JerryRigEverything tried to melt and extract titanium from the phone in the latest video after dismantling iPhone 15 Pro Max. Tests show that each phone contains 18 grams of titanium, priced between $9 and $40 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 66-292 yuan).

JerryRigEverything said Apple uses a technology called Solid State Diffusion, which combines titanium and aluminum, and in order to confirm how much titanium is in the chassis of the middle frame, the anchor throws it into the furnace to melt it.

CTOnews.com Note: aluminum melts at 1500 degrees Fahrenheit (815.5 degrees Celsius) and titanium melts at 3000 degrees Fahrenheit (1648.8 degrees Celsius).

JerryRigEverything said that X-ray fluorescence (XRF) scanning confirmed the use of five-grade titanium in iPhone 15 Pro Max.
