At this forum, Li Peng, senior vice president of Huawei and president of operator BG, attended and delivered a speech on "accelerating the positive cycle of 5G business and embracing the more prosperous 5.5G". He believes that the future mobile network should have six characteristics: "10 gigabit downlink, 1 gigabit uplink, determined network, 100 billion connection of things, synaesthesia, and native intelligence."

He also mentioned that the five major trends supporting the future development of the digital economy will include the naked eye of 3D business, the connection of intelligent vehicles, the digital intelligence of production systems, the honeycomb of the whole scene, and the ubiquity of intelligent computing.
